The second edition of the International Rotterdam Beach Sprints will take place on September 12, 13, and 14, 2025, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The race is open to national and international club athletes and national teams and will be organized according to **World Rowing Standards**.
The International Rotterdam Beach Sprints will be held in the following categories:
– Women: CO1x.W
– Men: CO1x.M
– Mixed: CO2x.Mix, CO4x+Mix
In case of an excessive number of applications, the **rowing CV** may be considered for the selection process.
Due to the climatic conditions in the Netherlands at this time of the year, a flexible three-day event has been chosen. This means that, based on weather forecasts, the best day or time slots will be selected for the races, similar to sailing competitions.
The final go or no-go decision will be communicated to the team captains no later than 8:00 PM on the evening before a race day.
– Thursday, September 11: Pasta Party
– Friday, September 12: Race Day 1 (weather-dependent)
– Saturday, September 13: Race Day 2 (weather-dependent)
– Sunday, September 14: Race Day 3 (weather-dependent)
The races will take place at the Hoekse Watersport Verenigingin Hoek van Holland.
