Rotterdam Coastal Races 2026 – Endurance Scheveningen

A.R.S.R. Skadi and KR&ZV de Maas look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 23 May at the Scheveningsche Roeivereeniging. Following the success of previous editions, this year’s Rotterdam Coastal Race will once again take place on and along the North Sea. The event coincides with the North Sea Regatta (NSR), meaning there is plenty more to enjoy alongside the Coastal races! We are very much looking forward to it and hope to welcome you in large numbers on Scheveningen beach!

Last updates

We look forward to magnificent conditions for rowing the race tomorrow. A few final practical points regarding arrival and parking the trailer (in addition to the manual):

  • We can park the trailers at the parking area by the De Vorm construction site, approximately 100 m before the slipway: location on map. The De Vorm parking is a fenced site. Temporarily open from 8:30. No trailers on the pavement.
  • Parking: it is very busy due to the North Sea Regatta, and the area directly at the harbour is expected to be almost full. Strict parking enforcement. Take your time to drop people off and park further away. Do not park on the pavement. This applies to trailers as well.
  • Prior to the prize ceremony at 16:00 there is a borrel with kibbeling! Stay and/or come along! The North Sea Regatta party also continues throughout the rest of the weekend.
  • WHS De Afrit:
    • At the bar: drinks and beverages, tosti’s, kroket rolls — this is not fast.
    • Do NOT fill water bottles at the toilet taps (sensor-operated). There is a small tap outside, or use the Yacht Club toilet building. Spa Blauw is available at the bar.
    • ATTENTION! The glass panels at De Afrit’s terrace are not yet fixed in place, please do not touch.
    • DO NOT leave trailers, cars or bags on the slipway or beach.
  • Media on site:
    • Drone footage will be made of one of the races.
    • JCS TV will be live streaming and conducting interviews — share a good Coastal story or refer them to the Race Organisation.
    • Proteus Paparazzi will be present all day with three photographers to capture atmospheric photos of the event.
  • On-site contact for info on RCR / SRV / Afrit / JCS / NSR: Karin Lindeman-Boere.
