Rotterdam Coastal Races 2026 – Endurance Scheveningen
A.R.S.R. Skadi and KR&ZV de Maas look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 23 May at the Scheveningsche Roeivereeniging. Following the success of previous editions, this year’s Rotterdam Coastal Race will once again take place on and along the North Sea. The event coincides with the North Sea Regatta (NSR), meaning there is plenty more to enjoy alongside the Coastal races! We are very much looking forward to it and hope to welcome you in large numbers on Scheveningen beach!

Registration & Participation Fee

  • First assessment based on the weather forecast whether the event can proceed.
Thursday 21 May
  • Definitive schedule for warm-up rows and races communicated, based on number of registrations.
Saturday 23 May — Race Day
Time Programme
09:30 – 10:00 Registration of participants and preparing boats on trolleys on the beach
NB: after 10:00 sailing boats will be launched from the slipway, so the slipway must be kept clear. Trailers can be parked at ‘De Pijp’, the exit of the marina (2nd Harbour) to sea; this is indicated on the map on page 6.
10:30 – 11:00 Palaver
11:00 – 11:15 Into the boats
11:15 – 11:45 Joint warm-up row VCoastal4* (accompanied by RIBs)
11:45 Start VCoastal4*
12:30 – 13:00 Joint warm-up row MCoastal4* (accompanied by RIBs)
13:00 Start MCoastal4*
13:30 – 14:30 Lunch at Water & Hengelsport Vereniging De Afrit
14:30 – 15:00 Joint warm-up row MixCoastal4* (accompanied by RIBs)

16:00 Borrel & prize ceremony
On the morning of the event the organisation will make the final decision in consultation with the chief umpire, based on actual weather conditions. The programme and starting procedure may be adjusted during the day depending on changing weather conditions.
Location
Water & Hengelsport Vereniging De Afrit, Hellingweg 135, Scheveningen. By public transport: HTM bus 28 from Den Haag Centraal towards Zuidstrand (20 min), alight at stop Norfolk (4 min walk). By car: parking available along the Hellingweg. Note that parking is paid from 18:00. No parking space can be guaranteed.
